🔥 Burn Ban Lifted – Town of Burlington Fire Department 🔥

The Town of Burlington Fire Department would like to inform residents that the burn ban has officially been lifted, as fire danger levels are now considered moderate. This decision is based on current conditions and the recommendations of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, which we follow to help ensure the safety of our community.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Your safety remains our number one priority.

While conditions have improved, we want to remind everyone that certain risks still exist. There are areas throughout the Town of Burlington with standing water, and while grass and foliage are beginning to green up, much of the dead vegetation from winter—including leaves and debris—remains dry. Combined with recent winds, these materials dry out can ignite.

Please continue to use caution when burning and remain aware of your surroundings.
